Jesus Walk Beside Me

Jesus walk beside me each and every day.

I am lost and weary and do not know the way.

Lead me in the pathway that is ever dear.

Let me know and see that You are always near.

Life is often rocky, and the path can be hard to see.

But I know You will guide me as I trust in Thee.

Many obstacles You’ve cleared away, as I stay by Your side.

My sight kept upon You, forever with me abide.

Please never leave me, I need you in my life.

Without You I am lost and lonely, with constant strife.

Jesus, You give me meaning in this crazy world.

With You I am safe no matter what is hurled.

Please stay with me forever no matter which path I take.

My heart is ever wayward, but please don’t forsake.

I always want to return to Your dearest side.

Your love is always tender, and in you I hide.

So, take me as I am, and mold me in Your sight.

Change me from inside, with Your perfect might.

Jesus I’m not perfect, and wounded I am too.

But I know that beside me You are ever true.
