Stupid Girl

You stupid girl. You had everything.
“Why did I do it,” the thoughts echo and ring.
But through your choices you lost it all.
Now it’s all gone, both big and small.

Your purpose for living was torn from your heart.
The actions you took played a very large part.
No words can comfort or heal no matter what’s said.
Thoughts “You should have done better,” swirl through your head.

Now it’s all gone because of your foolish mistakes.
Now everyday feels so long and night brings heartbreak.
Grasping for hope that is always out of reach.
Karma is a cruel master. It’s got lessons to teach.
