Hurt people hurt people.
And they were hurt too.
By hurt people who were hurt by people,
And so the same is true.
It’s a cycle that needs breaking,
And the breaking is done by you.
Hurt people hurt people.
But love is what they need.
Hurt people heal.
When their needs we heed.
