My Beautiful Daughter

To my beautiful daughter, you will never fully know,
How precious you are, or how special your glow.
You’ll never fully see, such an amazing woman you’ll be.
As each new day passes, even more lovely you grow.

Not everyone sees the beauty I see.
Some are only focused on their own misery.
They may not treat you in ways that are right.
But never forget who you’re meant to be.

You’re my precious angel all wrapped up in light.
You’re always in my thoughts, both day and night.
I always want to be near to protect and to guide.
I cherish these times your little and I can hold you all tight.

However, life will go on, and from the years you can’t hide.
You will grow older, changing both in and outside.
A little girl, you’ll cease to be anymore.
But always my baby girl, even when the years lie.

The day will come when you step out that door.
When the world is before you, and a new home is yours.
But my darling, please don’t forget, I’ll always be here.
My love will never fade, and my heart is forever yours.

You will always be beautiful and always my dear.
I hope you can see with eyes that are clear.
True beauty only from the inside is made.
And my heart forever will always be near.

I will cherish you always with a love that won’t fade.
And even on that day when my last breath I’ve made,
You’ll still be my very beautiful daughter,
And my love forever always with you stay.
