The Gift Of Life
Life is such a special thing that we can’t understand.
DNA threads together quickly in a long tight strand.
In an instant flash of light life is quickly made.
The groundwork for our being is now fully laid.
One moment we are nothing and the next we are alive.
Energy races from cell to cell like lightning in the sky.
A gift from up above and a mystery to be.
Life is very puzzling for us to fully see.
The energy springs eternal directly from God’s love.
A part of Him forever passed down to us from above.
It’s a miracle that we often fail to comprehend.
We are made amazingly by our Dearest Friend.
So, if you’re feeling lowly, when darkness doth abound,
Realize you are special. The only one around.
God’s got a plan just for you that is yours to fill.
No one else can take your place. No one fits the bill.
Life has its moments of pain that make us die inside.
But blessings in the form of love forever doth abide.
This love is the energy that creates and ignites a spark.
The fire rekindled inside us from a piece of God’s heart.
Until our last day on earth has passed, and our last breath made,
His energy flows from his love and saturates our veins.
But death is not the end of life. God has a plan still.
He’s got a place in eternity that only you can fill.
So don’t despair when life gets hard and drives us to our knees.
No one promised this life would be only filled with ease.
But rest in knowing that God is holding you together with His love.
Your very being filled with His energy from above.
Your value is limitless. After all He died for you.
With infinite love and constant regard that is ever true.
Surely you are a miracle, and you have a special place.
Don’t give up before the finish line. You will win the race.
I know it can be rough at times, and you may question why.
I do not have the answers, but I know He never lies.
His rewards are worth the wait as you practice sharing His love.
And it will all make sense someday when we are up above.
So, tread on now my dear friend, step by step each day.
Find beauty in the gift of life and stay within the way.
Never give up or ever leave His ever-caring side.
With you He will always be and always will abide.
