Integrity

There is something about her that stsands out from the rest,
She’s kind and compassionate when put to the test.
Never angry or cross, judgemental, or dreary.
Her demeanor is joyful, bright, and cheery.

Certainly, life hasn’t always been kind,
But she takes it in stride and has a clear mind.
She’s chose a purpose, and aim that’s set high,
To live a great life, and to love those that are nigh.

‘Where does this love come from’ I wonder each day.
How can someone be so amazing, like a sun’s warm ray.
I don’t think she realizes what an impact she makes,
With each loving smile and footstep she takes.

She radiates love and acceptance around,
And even when disappointed, encouragement abounds.
She lives her life in a way that is pure.
To the harshness of life, she seems like a cure.

Integrity is the word that she herself uses,
To describe the pathway she chooses.
She’s an angel in disguise, a rare soul indeed.
Making it her life mission to help those in need.

I strive to be like her because she’s inspired,
My heart to want more than to feel worn and tired.
So, I’ve also adopted the word ‘integrity’.
For in her it’s really a glimpse of God’s love I ee.

I want to be like that, to love and to be kind.
And slowly and surely a new path I’ll find.
I’m drawn to her radiance, her kindness, her gentle tone.
She spread God’s love and I feel less alone.

I’ll never forget the love that she’s shown,
When I couldn’t even love myself let alone.
It’s awakened the realization that I also to,
Can be kind, courageous and compassionate too.

No words can ever thank her for showing me love,
And I can only hope she feels the same from above.
So, when she feels down, tired and blue,
I ohpe these words show her an appreciation that’s true.

Thank you fo rgive from all of your heart.
The lessones I’ve learned from which I’ll not part.
I hope life treats you as you deserve,
With the love that you’ve given to those that you’ve served.
